"Why did Van Jones get into "green jobs?" Because that's where the money is."
That's a rather clumsy transition Steve. There are many better ways you could have introduced a relatively interesting story, but being Labor Day weekend I assume you're a the beach chasing your kids around and trying to fiddle with your laptop.
So you think he's a common street hustler and all this marxist-fascist rhetoric is just for show? [Kristinn, over at Jim Robinson's site, has him denouncing the USA as early as September 12, 2001].
I don't get that feeling about Obama - there I agree with Spengler - Obama strikes me as more of a true believer.
The LA Times (linked via Drudge ATM) story on this clearly states that Jones signed on to the idea that the US government might've abetted the Twin Towers attacks. That's an improvement over the characterization in a previous article linked at Drudge, and the Fox radio brief I heard today, which stated that Jones signed a document suggesting that the Bush administration "allowed" the attacks. Typical radical leftist media obfuscation - pretty much everyone knows the administration "allowed" the attacks, which is fuzzy language that blurs the border between abetting the attacks, and failing to stop them.
Its not "irreversible" climate change, and climate change (not global warming) is being *framed* as a global "security" issue. The new line is that massive forrest fires, insect infestations, social upheaval, and massive migration of people will be a result of this "rapidly warming" planet of ours. AP reporter James Hanley's last story about global warming was a real howler.
Eco-crusading has been where the money is for some time now. In 2002 the Sacamento Bee, a normally SWPL newspaper, published an excellent series called Environment, Inc. which really laid out a good expose of the professional greenies and how they operate. Required reading for any innocents out there.

No, pretty much every conspiracy theorist "knows" this. The rest of us just think you guys are nuts.
"Steve Sailer gives us the real Barack Obama, who turns out to be very, very different - and much more interesting - than the bland healer/uniter image stitched together out of whole cloth this past six years by Obama's packager, David Axelrod. Making heavy use of Obama's own writings, which he admires for their literary artistry, Sailer gives the deepest insights I have yet seen into Obama's lifelong obsession with 'race and inheritance,' and rounds off his brilliant character portrait with speculations on how Obama's personality might play out in the Presidency." - John Derbyshire Author, "Prime Obsession: Bernhard Riemann and the Greatest Unsolved Problem in Mathematics" Click on the image above to buy my book, a reader's guide to the new President's autobiography.

Green jobs czar:
The name is 'Jones'.
'Van Jones'.
Cool name, cool looks.
I wonder if the original Tsars has such cool names and looks if they would still be around today (Putin sure tries to look cool).
Because that's where the money is.

This sort of behavior is simply incompatible with the very idea of life in a civilized society.

Are you kidding me? That showed, forethought, coordination, preparation, working in concert with others and delay of gratification.
Unquestionably America at it's finest!
"pretty much everyone knows the administration "allowed" the attacks, "
Now, do they really?
The link you have posted isn't working Steve.
By the way, the "meme" has changed:
